Version 0.1.0
Initial public release. A static, provider-neutral collection of 34 browser-side text and data utilities.
Tools and content
- Added 20 text utilities for counting, timing, line cleanup, extraction, comparison, HTML, and Markdown tasks.
- Added 14 data utilities for JSON, XML, YAML, CSV, Base64, URL encoding, UUIDs, and Unix timestamps.
- Added static category and tool pages with instructions, examples, supported behavior, limitations, FAQs, and related links.
- Added local file selection, browser-generated downloads, clipboard actions, clear controls, examples, progress states, and recoverable errors where applicable.
Site experience
- Added a compact responsive header, mobile menu, grouped keyboard tool search, semantic footer, breadcrumbs, and a skip link.
- Listed all 34 utilities directly on the search page in a six-column desktop directory with instant filtering, and in a compact responsive button grid in the homepage tool finder.
- Added system, light, and dark themes with an early page-load preference check to prevent a theme flash.
- Added browser-local favorite tool IDs, recent tool IDs and times, option preferences, and a clear-local-settings panel.
- Added responsive single-column tool layouts, 44 CSS-pixel primary targets, visible focus, reduced-motion support, and high-contrast adjustments.
- Rebuilt every tool page around the approved 90%-viewport design: compact title and privacy header, quick-start actions, bordered options and workbench panes, stacked lower-content cards, and no secondary rail.
- Aligned CSV selection, CSV operations, Base64, UUID, and timestamp tools with the shared quick-start, options, and workbench-pane shell; preserved their specialized workflows and added desktop and mobile layout coverage for every data tool.
- Moved Text Comparison and Markdown to HTML options above their workbench panes, matching the shared data-tool layout while preserving file, diff, preview, copy, and download workflows.
- Added safe syntax colors for JSON and XML results, including JSON produced from YAML, CSV, and extraction tools, with light and dark theme support and a bounded plain-text fallback for large outputs.
Privacy and deployment
- Kept tool input, output, files, filenames, clipboard content, and search terms out of storage, URLs, analytics, and processing requests.
- Kept analytics and advertising disabled by default.
- Added optional Google Analytics with automatic session-only analytics cookies, query-free page paths, coarse tool events, and disabled advertising storage and signals.
- Allowed the exact Google Ads measurement endpoint through the production content security policy while keeping advertising storage, personalization, and enhanced conversions disabled.
- Added Search Console verification support, richer breadcrumb structured data, and a query-aligned homepage title, description, headings, task copy, and direct tool links without unsupported meta-keyword tags or keyword stuffing.
- Removed commercial offer and application rich-result markup from free tool pages so Google does not misclassify them as products or merchant listings; retained valid breadcrumb structured data.
- Added privacy, terms, cookies and local storage, accessibility, contact, about, and custom 404 pages as static HTML.
- Prepared static output for Cloudflare Pages as the primary host and an unprivileged Nginx fallback without a runtime backend.
